About Bhaskar Bhat

Mr. Bhaskar Bhat brings more than forty years of leadership experience spanning consumer-facing businesses and manufacturing. His professional journey began at Godrej & Boyce, followed by his association with the Tata Watch Project. He later devoted over three decades to Titan Company Limited, playing a pivotal role in shaping its evolution.
​
As Managing Director of Titan from 2002 to 2019, he steered the organisation through a period of significant growth and strategic expansion. During his tenure, Titan broadened its portfolio beyond watches into eyewear, accessories, fragrances and sarees, while building substantial shareholder value and reaching a market capitalisation of approximately USD 13 billion.

An alumnus of IIT Madras (Mechanical Engineering) and IIM Ahmedabad (PGDBM), Mr. Bhat has been honoured by both institutions as a Distinguished Alumnus in recognition of his professional achievements and contributions.

He currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Marico Limited, Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, LUCAS TVS Limited and Orange County Resorts & Hotels Limited. In addition, he is a Trustee of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and actively contributes to several non-profit initiatives, including IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation, PanIIT Alumni Reach for Gram Udyog Foundation, Sankara Eye Foundation and IIM PACT.
